I always keep my eye out for attractive, problem free early US type and there is no date more common for the Bust Dollar type than 1799. It is like the 1881-S of the Bust Dollars. These puppies are readily available with one caveat. If you want a nice, problem free, distraction free, adjustment mark free, and past-cleaning free example, you could be looking for a good stretch of time. I have done the leg-work pulling this beauty out of the woodwork so if you are looking for a very pleasing example of this wonderful early Silver Dollar, here it is right here.
