1760 1/2 P PCGS MS64BN Voce Populi - P Below Bust - N11

Gorgeous 1760 Hibernia Voce Populi Copper Half Penny. 14-L, N-11, R.3. A large P is positioned below the shoulder loop under the bust, with about half the letter off the flan. The obverse has the O in POPULI triple-punched and the reverse has the H in HIBERNIA double-punched. Finding one is such a lofty state of preservation would be quite difficult. Deep chocolate porosity-free fields with scattered chestnut browns. These pieces were coined in Dublin, and found their way to colonial America alongside other Irish tokens. Voce Populi translates to "voice of the people" Become the proud owner of this beautiful colonial coin and you're certain to be heard by all.
