1882-S $1 NGC MS64* STAR Candy Rainbow Toned Morgan
There''s just something about this fantastic Rainbow Morgan that makes me think of candy. Could it be the icy blue flowing across Liberty''s face reminding me of Berry Blue jelly bellys? Maybe it''s the bright magenta and vibrant green near the bottom right rim bringing back memories of strawberry and lime Jolly Ranchers. I''m not sure but it may have something to do with the fabulous luster that makes the myriad of colors on this beautiful piece really lolly-POP. Any way you slice it, the combination of the wonderful obverse toning and the powerful blue and burnt orange rim toning on the reverse causes a pavlov effect in me running wild with an affinity for Rainbow Toned Morgans.
