No Longer Available

This Chicago $5,000 note NOW resides in a PCGS-55PPQ holder.

Here we have one of America's largest denomination currency notes ever produced for public use. This is an original 1934 $5,000 bill from the Chicago district. The Jhon E Cash, $5,000 and $10,000 census list only 224 $5,000 bills known to exist. This is one of the nicer specimens from this popular Chicago district. This rare $5,000 note has no rips, tears, bank stamps or missing pieces. As a matter of fact, PMG who has graded this jewel as an Almost Uncirculated-53 mentions on the back that it has Great Embossing and Good Color. Most people do not know this but the $5,000 is much scarcer than its big brother, the $10,000 bill. There are two-hundred and seven (231) 1928 and 1934 $10,000 bills known compared to one hundred seventy six (224) $5,000 bills. That is not even near enough to go around to all the collectors. This note is one of the scarce few EPQ/PPQ $5,000 dollar bills known. Check the internet and you will see, if you can find one. I also have the 1934 $5,000 bill with serial number G00001141A in a PCGS-62PPQ holder that is available with this one as a set or individually. Jhon E Cash is the largest reseller in the USA of the 1928 and 1934 $5,000 and $10,000 bills. If you would like more information on this bill or you have one for sell, you may contact me at 214-769-9936. Visit my gallery on the home page of my website to view photos of all the $5,000 and $10,000 I have recently owned and sold.
