Jhon E Cash Rare Currency is proud to offer this rare and spectacular 1934 $10,000 FRN from the Boston District. The serial number is A00000140A and is actually the 140th $10,000 ever printed and issued by the US Government. This one is a very nice and uncirculated 1934 $10,000 FRN from the tougher Boston District and is in a PCGS-63 holder.

There are only 14 known $10,000 bills from the Boston district.

I’ve always been partial to Boston notes as Boston is the first district on all of our US currency and its always nice and cool to have the first or be the first at anything. A lot of east coast collectors prefer a Boston, or Philadelphia $5K or $10K note. These two districts rarely come available on the market.

This rare Boston $10,000 bill is much scarcer than any of the 100 Binion 1934 $10,000 bills.

It had been previously graded in an old CGA-64 holder and it is now in a new PCGS-63 holder.

I've sold this cool Boston $10,000 note two other times since 2005. In 2007 it was listed for $135,00 and sold for $132,500 in a CGA-64 holder. I am now offering it for sale for a third time. Some lucky collector will appreciate this by adding this rare Boston to their collection of high denomination notes.

Recently at the FUN show held in Orlando on January 8th, 2014, Heritage auctioned off a 1934 $10,000 Binion note in a PCGS-62 holder for $129,750.

All of the $5,000 and $10,000 bills are going back up in price at the levels they were in 2007 before the crash. At the price listed of $122,000 this one a real bargain. I will be showing it at the upcoming Long Beach Show from Jan 27th to Jan 30 2014.
