This is a beautiful 1934 original $10,000 bill that hails from the Famous Binion Hoard of 100 $10,000 bills that was displayed from 1966 to 1999 at the entrance of the Binion Hotel and casino in Las Vegas. The 100 $10,000 bills were from the New York district and were displayed in the famous Inverted Horseshoe. This famous display was Las Vegas’ most celebrated attraction for many years attracting over 3 million visitors annually. People from all over the world came to have their picture taken in front of the display. Charles Manson was one of the ones who had his picture taken with the display.

All 100 of the $10,000 bills from the Inverted Horseshoe were sold off by the daughter of the late Benny Binion in December of 1999 to pay for the pension fund of the hotel and casino workers. In January of 2000 they were carefully removed from the Inverted Horseshoe display and sold off to investors and collectors. This note was one of the ones on display. The serial number of this note is B00002273A and is in a PCGS-63app holder.

I am currently writing a detailed book on the US $5,000 and $10,000 bills and there is a chapter in the book that details the history of Benny Binion and the famous Inverted Horseshoe. The display is part of Americana history and lore. This is your chance to own one of Americas most cherished currency possessions! Only 100 people in the world can lay claim they have ever owned one. The $10,000 bill was America’s highest denomination ever released to the public.

The $100,000 bill was printed and issued by the Treasury Department but was only issued for bank to bank transactions among the 12 Federal Reserve Banks and was never issued to the public. Rumors have been around for years that there are several $100,000 bills floating around the world and occasionally offered for sale. That is not true as all of them have been accounted for by the Treasury Department. Even if you did own one it would be worthless and illegal as they were never issued to the public.

As the largest reseller of $5,000 and $10,000 bills in the US I am always interested in buying from collectors, individuals or investors. I have owned and resold over 70 of the 100 Binion $10,000 bills and I am very knowledgeable of all of them. If you have any for sale or know of someone who is, please contact me for a strong offer. I have many other $5,000 and $10,000 bills available.
