This is a 1934 $10,000 FRN from the tough Kansas City district. It is also a more desirable Light Green Seal variety. The serial number is J00000319A and it is housed in a PMG-25 NET holder. This is the top of the line for currency collectors. The largest small size note printed by the US and released to the public. The notation of restored is on the back. Good luck trying to find it, even with the large zoomify feature. It was done by a highly respectable professional. I just recently acquired this note and I am offering it for sale for the first time at a super low price that cannot be touched by anyone on the internet. Someone out there will get a heck of a deal at this price. First come, first served. This is a great type note for the collector who doesn't want to spend over $200,000 for a UNC version. Of the 1,440 1934 $10,000 bills printed, only 15 have survived. Although the $10,000 bill is the largest denomination the US Treasury Department ever released to the public, there was a $100,000 printed by the B.E.P. but it was used only for bank to bank transactions and was never released to the public. There is a total of only 231 1934 $10,000 bills known from all districts and only nine 1928 $10,000 bills known. So you can see why they are in such high demand by collectors and investors.
